GREEN LITE IS NOT A COLOR SEEN BY PLANTS. ITS SAFE TO USE JUST AS A RED LIGHT IS SAFE FOR PHOTO DEVELOPING

"wondering if the green light bulb 23W PAR 38 is any good for maintenance in the dark cycle?"
the way ya worded this was a little confusing(for me anyway). The way i read it was that you plan on keeping this green bulb on all the time...i musta been stoned. :stoned:
The "myth" i was talking about was the idea i've heard often, that a green light will "kill" any light coming into the box.
either way i found Some Info Here
7th paragraph
"A green light can be used to work on the garden during the dark period with no negative reactions from the plants. These are sold as nursery safety lights, but any green bulb should be OK. It is best to keep the dark hours a time when you would normally not wish to visit the garden."
Hope this helps!
Bob
