Wood Pipe maintenance

Hi all. Gotta quick question. Recently, I've been using a wood hand pipe to fulfill my smoking needs, and I think the time has come for it to be cleaned. My question is what is the best method to do that? Is it simply a matter of changing the screen? I don't have spare ones, and I'm not close to any place to get them with a snap of a finger. So, any assistance, as always, is profoundly appreciated.

um u could try using some damp paper towels and get the rez and black shit out, unless u want the rez then u can use a paperclip or like a small screw driver to scrap out the rez but i find it hard to do on wooden pipes.

o yeah sorry for double posting but u can wash the screen and reuse it ive done it

Hey man, no worries about the double posting. :thumbsup: Thanks for the help. Ironically, I have been using a paperclip, but you're right it doesn't seem to do much.

I have a wooden pipe, and could not find an effective way of cleaning it, now its clogged as hell and cant be used. I now stick w/ metal/glass pipes.

Clean it before every use, then you'll be cool and never have to worry about big clean jobs.
