    When to flower

LET THEM GET A BIT BIGGER BEFORE YOU FLOWER YOU COULD FLOWER NOW BUT IF YOUVE ONLY MANAGED 5" OF GROWTH ON ONE MONTH THEN DONT EXPECT A GOOD YIELD

    When to flower

I wouldn't flower it if it wasn't going to produce such a good yield, so how much longer should I leave it? Another couple of weeks?

    When to flower

Sounds like you possibly have problems. It could be that they are getting too much water or fertilizer, not enough light, bugs eating the roots or plant matter etc.
I wouldn't flower until the secondary growth from the plant is substantial.
If you are able to determine and correct your problems then in 2-3 weeks you can start to flower. Some people are able to flower within or around 30days but thatâ??s usually because they have the correct environment for the plants.
It would really help if you could post a pic. There are a lot of knowledgeable guys on here that are willing to help out.

    When to flower

If you want to clone, you will grow more

if you are using cfl's you can flower NOW

if you are using HID you can/should wait until they are at least 10-20 inches tall..

do you know if it is a male or female?

Everything I said could be wrong... hhahahaah

depending on what info you reveal to us..

    I still LoVE you!!!!!!

    When to flower

Just got the replies just now. The light is a 4oow HPS in bio-bizz allmix soil and 9" pots. They are fed 1/4 strength nutes every second feed (3-4 days between feeds) and, the light is about 15" from the tops of the plants also have mylar to supplement the lighting. I'm thinking of leaving them to veg for another 4 weeks so i hope to get a bigger yield at the end. Is this assumption right or am I way off the mark.
    Cheers Ali

You're getting slow growth, given your specs. I'm suspecting that your pots are too big and your getting root growth rather than top growth. Since you have slow growth going on, and you have an HPS light, I say try to have some more patience and let the plant grow, at least another month. Patience will be rewarded especially since you say you want to go for a bigger yield. Also I'm betting you have no secondary growth yet. If you veg longer you may be able to get some decent branching, and better yield (and do some research on LST), and clone material.

Also think about your next grow...if clones are in your future, you definitely want more growth so you can later have a good selection of clone material. Your next crop then will be alot easier...think clones. Seed growing is a pain in the ass and slow. BTW temps ok? You can get slow growth if your temps are too high (like 85-90F +).
