I would get some hygrozyme...it is kind of expensive, but it rebuilds dead root matter
and keeps your res healthy...everyone swears that this is the BEST by far enzyme product...and the only one with unlimited shelf life...hope this helps

I'm at about 1200ppm and 5.7 ph. the plants all look healthy, but I've noticed a rotten smell in the room. Could it be mildew in the carpet?
