    Rotten smell...

My plants are flowering, week two. I'm running 1, 600w HPS on a 12/12. I'm at about 1200ppm and 5.7 ph. the plants all look healthy, but I've noticed a rotten smell in the room. Could it be mildew in the carpet? I'm not sure whats going on.. any suggestions? :rasta:

it could be the carpet under the buckets you are using or it could be the roots too. Any sign of root rot?

yeah, there was a bit a root rott that I caught weeks ago. I stopped the cannazine and rhizontonic and started using Hydro. peroxide.. a very mild solution. That seemed to work and just the other day I noticed a mucuous like substance on some roots.. so i removed it and changed out the water. I need to remove the carpet, but can't until flowering is done.

    Well wish me luck.

Will some forms of root rot give off a rotten smell or could lack of fresh air during the dark cycle be the problem?

I would get some hygrozyme...it is kind of expensive, but it rebuilds dead root matter
and keeps your res healthy...everyone swears that this is the BEST by far enzyme product...and the only one with unlimited shelf life...hope this helps
