what are ways to tell if the buds you are looking at are hydro? do they all have hollow stems?

Well the truth of the matter seems to be that nobody is really sure if that is a legit way to tell if it is hydroponically grown cannabis or not. Hollow stems can occur on soil grown plants as well. Plants with Boron deficiency are known to have hollow stems. But just by looking at the bud you won't be able to really tell. Not that it matters too much though. Hydro is not any more potent than soil grow cannabis.

quality depends on ALOT of things. Hydro is not weed, its a method of growing, and personally i think organics is far better, for the better quality buds. there is no way of telling the method of growing, as far as i know. I thought all stems were hollow at first, cause how else would the water flow throughout the plant? they soon begin to close during the curing process, through my experiences. iF u want the better tasting weed, go organic, hydro is simply meant for a much faster growth, not neccesarily better quality.
