I'd call the cops and tell them the dude snatched the money out of my hand and split. The cops aren't all knowing and can't read all the bullshit thrown at them. I just don't think that involving the cops will get your money back, but will give the dude who ripped you off a good enough scare or what he deserves. Thieves suck.
