what you should know about testing
first off, this is only related to MJ smokers.. lets get to it.
the average time it takes for a person to metabolize THC can vary greatly depending primarily on tolerance, body fat%, and metabolism. the detection times can range from 3-30 days or more, again allowing for a great degree of variance in individuals. also, frequent users will become clean faster than infrequent users.
there is no single product on the market that will make you instantly pass a drug test. period. every drink/pill/ whatever on the market that supposedly cleans your system does nothing but mess with the test, similiar to aspirin.
drug tests do not test for THC itself, but the metabolites (or byproducts) of THC. these metabolites are stored in fatty tissue, therefore there are only very few SUREFIRE ways of becoming clean enough to pass.
the least effective, overhydration. metabolites are stored in fat, over hydrating does nothing to get rid of them. in some cases it is effective, because it will dilute urine so much that the level of thc metabolites falls below the detectable threshold. this always results in clear urine, which can be rejected on basis of color alone. sometimes that can be corrected by taking b complex vitamins, but at any rate is still a risky last minute measure to take.
and the only complete way, increasing metabolism. higher metabolism means more fat burning, which means quicker flushing of metabolites. increased calorie intake can raise your metabolism by up to 10%, but exercise can increase your metabolism by up to 2000% (thats right, two-thousand percent) so work out big, and eat big... and you shouldn't have any problems.

a popular method among athletes is to work out heavily for as much time as possible before the test, then relax and eat big for the last 2 or 3 days prior to the test. even if your body does not become completely clean, this will put your body into a anabolic fat storage state, so 'new' fat is being stored on top of 'old' fat. and as long as you aren't smoking during this short period, there won't be any metabolites on the layers of 'new' fat, which essentially buries the metabolites, blocking them from being flushed and therefore, from being detected.
