It was assent. I was rico'ed by the feds and that prose was written as I was doing six flat. Now the feds say I was head of a "gang" and guity of trafficking and money laundering. I happen to have a college degree and can speak and write english. I dont fit into your idea of a "gangster" but the attorney general in Az does. It seems that the world is full, of stereotypes. Just because I wear a tie when I go to my office you would not think that I'm much of a threat. Yet if you run into me and a young person wearing his colors on the street you would think of the gangster as the more dangerous one. You would be wrong. When I hear the words "gangster rap", I think of Frank Sinatra singing Mack the Knife. Listen to that song sometime. No matter how many times P. Ditty gets arrested he will never be a "gangster". You have to live the life to be one. Here is another one I wrote while in the joint:

gunsmoke in the air
celebrates a death
life taken without a care

the gutter bleeds
red is the water
the earth regains its seed

fueling the flame
this racial unrest
yet another soul to claim

can the the man in the moon
keep us walking along
death comes very soon

a drive-by is its name
to even the score
but pay-back is the game

hold fast to the ground
and say a prayer or two
but dont fear the gunshot sound

in the end everyone dies
only the lucky ones
get it between the eyes
