Is it possible to stick Mylar onto the reflecter??

It's a bitch to get the wrinkles out of Mylar but I have used it a few times with 1000w HPS lights and bat wing reflectors. I had no problems like melting or burning at all. Manufactures would not use it because for them it's cheaper to use other material or even bake on finish then it is to hassle Mylar.

Hoods reflect light sure but they also reflect heat back to the plants as well so there is a balance that needs to be found using hood reflectors. It's a matter of working smarter not harder.

I've heard the lesser expensive reflectors can benefit from more reflection such as adding mylar. Now I know that it doesn't melt, It might come in handy to know that someday. For now I'll keep it on my walls. Thanks for the input.
