Thanksgiving
I just wanted to take a few minutes to wish all of you who will be celebrating Thanksgiving, a very happy Turkey Day.
To all you Canadians who made us drool earlier, now its your turn.
A traditional Thanksgiving menu for us includes:
Turkey, gravy, hot rolls, potato filling, bread filling, candied sweet potatoes with marshmallows on top, asparigas, corn, cranberry sauce, pickles, olives, cheeses, pumpkin pie, caramel apple pie, banana bread, and pumpkin bread, home made of course. We serve cider, soda, coffee or tea. I also make an awesome french apple bread pudding.
The day after Thanksgiving we get our Christmas tree out and start the weekend of decorating.
What are your traditions and favorites?ladyM Reviewed by ladyM on . Thanksgiving I just wanted to take a few minutes to wish all of you who will be celebrating Thanksgiving, a very happy Turkey Day. I also enjoy how around our school, people start remembering what real Native Americans are by presenting elementary crafts and hanging them around for a few days. So in a sense I guess Thanksgiving can be a memorial date to the American Holocaust (and the first holocaust I might add.)
Aside from that I guess Thanksgiving is fine, I get 3 days out of school.
