The idea that you are a machine is both ignorant and repressive. Deep within the human experience is this "I" character that we assosiate ourselves with. Ignoring the "I" would put us on the level of animals, but it's not natural to ignore it as it's put into humanity and humanity alone. I concider my body a machine in all regards, but that doesn't mean that the "I" that I know as myself is a machine, as everything I experience and love and hate tells me otherwise
