Unless you've rolled cigarettes or something before, I wouldn't try rolling a joint with bible paper. Of course, in desperate situations (I don't do this anymore, but I did a lot back in "the day") even binder paper will work, and it's actually far easier for novices to roll that stuff even if it does taste NASTY. Of course, my favorite "in a pinch" way to smoke has always been tin foil. Get some tin foil and wrap it tightly around a pen then slide the pen out. about 1/2 inch from the end, fold your tin foil roll (not too tight, some air needs to get through, but you also don't want a bunch of ash getting in your mouth) so it's at a 90 degree angle. If you did it right, you'll have a tin foil tube with a little cone sticking up at the end. Fill the cone with your pot, put your mouth on the other end, light your lighter and start sucking. It's a little harsh, but what the hell. Just keep smoking as long as you feel comfortable. At least 3 or 4 good hits, I'd say. The cool thing about this smoking device is when you're done you can just crumple it up and toss it in a dumpster then walk around town without that paranoia of having drug stuff on you. If you plan to smoke any more, get yourself a real pipe or learn how to roll, but whatever works...

By the way, your first time I would avoid talking to teachers, parents, etc, for at least 2 hours. Some people handle it just fine, and others get a little wacky. If the latter happens to you, it's far more fun to not have to try to hide your stoned-ness.

One more thing: The biggest problem that leads to new stoners not getting high is that they don't know how or are afraid to inhale. If it feels like you're going to cough or something, you can take your mouth of the pipe and mix some cool fresh air in your lungs, too, but make sure the smoke gets deep in your lungs for at least a couple seconds.
