That wouldn't happen to be that jibberish talk in the Austin Powers movies, would it? If so, then you, too are truly unique.

We all speak english but not exactly the same so I thought we could have a cross cultural discussion on how english is spoken in different places. For instance.. "Pissed" in the US means "mad or angry" but in the UK and elsewhere it means drunk. To "take the piss" in the UK means to make fun of...whereas in the US that would mean that you have taken some urine...er.. somewhere. To take "a piss" in the US means well..to urinate. Rating: 5

Mad, in most erm..urban areas means crazy or extremely. Or something like that, because I've definitly heard "That shit's mad fucked up" "That's mad crazy" "let's get mad stoned".
How about pants? I met some Irish chicks who called 'em trousers or ish like that.

Yeah, all that in Austin Powers is real rhyming slang.. nothing made up there, and what i said is what you'd say if you wanted to speak in cockney slang...

I went to the UK and "Pants" is known as underwear. Like "underpants".
Also a 'sweater" is a "jumper" in the UK. Say jumper in the US and everyone looks up to see somebody suicidal
And "sneakers" are "trainers". Say trainer in the US and people think you are working in a gym or a circus.I appreciate the herb you brought for me, Natty Dreadlock. -Black Uhuru :rasta:
