Probably about 4 days straight without sleep; I'm clinically an insomniac though, says my psych. and am too young to be put on medication. I was pretty shitty by the third day.

32hrs was the longest I went. I was starting a new job as a security officer at a pork plant, I lasted that 32hrs as it sucked major balls. Anyways, I got up that day and had a job interview, I went, got the job, and they wanted me to start at 12 midnight that same night. I was like, okay, went home, tried to sleep some that night, couldn't, so I went to work, got through the 12hr shift by running on 2L of sugar water. I knew I needed something to keep me up, coffee makes me sleepy, so I made a big batch a sugar water.

Funny thing was I wasn't even tired when I got home. I had to force myself to sleep after 32hrs.

I've heard that some of the freakiest trips are from sleep deprivation, just cause of the state of mind you put yourself into, plus your brain is so tired and also tweaked out the usually once you hit a certain day, your body will actually shut itself off.
What I mean is that, your brain without you even knowing it at the time, will just go to sleep. It will just completely shut itself down, hence you knock out.
My friend said she saw purple little two foot people runnin around my house and they wouldnt stop runnin!! I wasnt tweaked so I was gettin a kick out of her and what she was telling me!! Luckily she wasnt scared or anything, she was too fucked up to even comprehend that!!! lol

Sleep deprivation can hit you on the second day, all the way up to the fourth. People just like all other drugs react different to different people.

That's how I drive long-distances. I had to deliver an AstroVan from Virginia Beach to Long Island, NY (at 5 A.M. on a Sunday Morning) and then go to the Mass./Conn. border to get a food truck, took that up to Boston College (to party with the guy who gave me the ride from Long Island to the Food Truck), decided to head back for Virginia Beach at about 1 A.M., and on the way, discovered that there was a hole in the gas tank AND the radiator system. So I had to stop, constantly, to get Gas and Water.

I made it back to the guys house, with the food truck, at 6 P.M. on Monday. I shut my whole body off, except my eyes and awareness, and my weed-smoking-molecules.
