Well, it's supposed to mean that i find it highly interesting the lengths people go to in order to avoid bad publicity, in this particular scenario did that not entail odb's order being more than doubled...hence customer satisfaction so that he's no longer moaning and drawing attention to the fact that this seller hasn't kept to his end of the bargain? Correct me if i'm wrong.
Equally, if you don't mind...that'll be my 2pence...two english pennies are worth more than two american cents...so any retort you might have been considering, don't

This board was about ODB apologizing, not business ethics.
I'm sure the order was padded to make up for any kind of misunderstandings that may have happened between them.
Any good retail establishment would do that.

True, and what you're saying i completely agree with. This whole saga is somewhat perplexing, i mean...from where i'm standing it looks like the seller took his money, neglected the order, and then ignored emails...until of course it's brought under the scrutiny of potential customers,(the ppl of these boards) in which case a problem spanning 4 months of emails was sorted relatively quickly and hassle-free. It just seems to me that had odb not gone public with his situation, he'd have not received anything. Shit, this is giving me a headache.
hey everyone...
case closed
and they'd have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for these damn pesky internet forums.

nothing was padded...the package was mailed before the post was made by ripobd..so, you dont really know what you are talking about in the long run..
also, if you did know what was going on you would know this was a favor to someone..there is no mail order business..so, there is no worries of customer satisfaction..just being a cool person..
