Should Bush Start Doing Coke Again?
I just don't understand how anybody can insist he's doing a good job. why you ask?
- He's borrowed more money than every previous american president combined, creating a national debt from which the states will never recover.
- Him and his administation twisted all the facts they could to justify the Iraq war, lied to us about the WMD's, as well as saddam's supposed al quada links, even though alquada and saddam's family hate each other.
- His "middle class tax cuts", which I can't believe anybody buys, considering they're plainly upper class tax cuts (it's a flat rate people).
- He's responsible for the deaths of 2090 american citizens who are serving in iraq, and more are sure to come. not to mention the civilian contactors, the thousands of innocent civilians, and iraqi legal combatants. now even donnald rumsfeld, a bush supporter (of course), says it will take at least 12 years to win Iraq, and that's a biased republican estimate. And btw, anybody who does a little research knows that Saudi Arabia was the true threat to the united states and funding of terrorism, but I wonder why they didn't even mention them?
- He's promoted abstinence-only sex education, as if that were an effective means.
- He's greatly against gay marriage. but, seeing as it's just my opinion that it should be allowed, this only applies as a negative to those sharing my point of view on this matter.
- up to 2004 during his presidency, the national debt has gone from $5.7 trillion to $7.9 trillion.
- in 2002 bush cut off american funding to the united nations population fund because of his personal beliefs involving abortion.
- He wants to start oil drilling in the arctic national wildlife refuge in alaska.
- Nominates his personal lawyer and close friend, who has no experience as a judge, to be head of the suppreme court.
- He stated in his state of the union address that $15 billion would be put forth over 5 years to help stop to spread of aids and HIV, yet only $2.5 billion was actually approved.
- reducing terrorism you say? since his invasion of iraq the alqada numbers have risen to 18,000 and most muslims clerics agree, as stated by a major one, "he has awakened the spirit of jihad in muslim youth". and boy has he ever.
and just for you all to enjoy...
Bush Quotes: (of course
)
- "Should any Iraqi officer or soldier receive an order from Saddam Hussein ... don't follow that order. Because if you choose to do so, when Iraq is liberated, you will be treated, tried and persecuted as a war criminal." (that's right, legal combatants aren't legal if they're not on his side).
- "The law I sign today directs new funds and new focus to the task of collecting vital intelligence on terrorist threats and on weapons of mass production."
- "Speaking about barbaric regimes, we must deal with probably one of the most??not probably??one of the most real threats we face, and that is the idea of a barbaric regime teaming up with a terrorist network and providing weapons of mass destruction to hold the United States and our allies and our friends blackmail."
- "We hold dear what our Declaration of Independence says, that all have got uninalienable rights, endowed by a Creator."
- "Education belongs to everybody. High standards belongs to everybody."
- "I mentioned early on that I recognize there are hurdles, and we're going to achieve those hurdles."
- "There's only one person who hugs the mothers and the widows, the wives and the kids upon the death of their loved one. Others hug but having committed the troops, I've got an additional responsibility to hug and that's me and I know what it's like."
- "There's an old saying in Tennessee??I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee??that says: Fool me once, shame on [pause] shame on you. [Pause] Fool me [long, uncomfortable, agonizing pause] you can't get fooled again."
