if your looking for a pound a plant your going to need some awsome light. Maybe 2 1000 watt lights. I have had a 400 watt and got 4 oz's of northern lights with just nutes no additives. It's all about lights and reflection. I am learning, when you go inside you grow more small plants than one big tree. Your lights only light 1/3rd of the plants. that's the top canopy. I grew 3 foot plants but only got good bud off the tops. Same thing this grow but I switched to a 1000 watt for the last 2 weeks of flowering. The next grow will start flowering at 5 nodes, that's 5 sets of good leaves. About 6 to 8 inches. When you go into flowering the plants grow like mad and more than double in size. With the 1000 watt I hope to get 2 to 3 oz's a plant. with 6 plants that's 12 to 18 oz's I hope.

Hey everyone I am new to the hydroponics growing area and I am intreeged to learn more as I start panning for my new grow come dec/jan. I want to grow minimum 2 plants. If I had a 5gal rubbermaid bucket and cut 2 holes in the lid and placed net pots in there, would that work? Im not neccisarly sure what the water would be in there, would that be the res?
