    cloning question

Sorry for the lack of picture evidence but i currently have 8 clones from a good female mother. They are all in 1 inch rockwool cubes in a propogator and have seemed to be doin ok for about 8 days now - have kept them under a 125w envirolight blue spec and spray/foliar fed them with a 6.5 ph water with superthrive and all looked fine till a few days ago!!
Now all the leaves are starting to turn really bright yellow!!
They all still look like they are alive - they`re not drooping into the ground but i am very concerned about the way all the leaves are starting to turn very bright yellow and die off!!
Anyone with some cloning experience please help!!!!!!
This is my 1st attempt at cloning and would hate this to fuck up!!
    Please help!!!!!!

Yellowing is normal, its the nitrogen coming out of them to help promote rooting. I've also heard that cutting the fingers of fan leaves helps rooting as well. Good luck with your clones.

Wow - Ty puff - didn`t expect a reply from anyone so soon and certainly not one so positive!!
I do hope ur right cos these will be top clones if i can get them to survive!

    cloning question

get some sort of antiwilt and take the domes off, you could also be retaining too much moisture in your rockwool, although I do agree that yellowing leaves on clones is normal as stated above...some of us here do not use heat and domes, but keep our clones in hydro format and use an antiwilt product...personally, I use miracle grow leaf shine, it has a waxy content and keeps the leaves pert and healthy during the rooting process...but you can buy an antiwilt at any hydro site, that is supposed to work really well...Did you use a cloning gel/powder...that is essential to successful cloning...I use schultz rooting powder available @ wally's...it works great, I have 98% success with these 2 above mentioned products.
    hope this helps.

    Cheers for the replies
Yes i used a rooting gel called `Clonex` Latewood and also i think u could be right about the cubes retaining too much water - ive been foliar feeding them twice a day and have also been spraying the cubes with copious amounts of water because i was a bit scared of them drying out. I`ve now taken the lid off the propogator so i`ll keep my eye on them now and try to keep them damp but not too soaked.
Do you think i should cut the yellow leaves off as they`re more or less dead anyway & they all still have a few healthy leaves on them or should i just leave them alone? i`m thinking this will only cause the clones more stress

    cloning question

I do, but that is just me, not off necessarily, but trim off dead stuff...I'm sure someone might take issue with my opinion, but their is more than one way to skin a cat...watch for my cloning threads, I have one in hydro forums already, but I have 2 new ones at indoor forums and I am posting early results on experiments tonight, you may want to change your technique to hydro; you can take that rockwool and put it in netpot with hydroton and bubble it for a few days to get roots...lw...get some no-wilt, anti-wilt, or leaf shine and spray the tops real good
