I don't think you know enough about him. He was trying to get away from all the thugs in his life. His Manager was tied to the Mafia, and stealing all his money, and when Jimi realized this, he slowly tried getting rid of his Manager. Soon after, two thugs killed Jimi when he was alone (contradicting reports by Monika Denneman, who gave the English the report that they wanted when they did the inquisition into his death). Also, President Nixon wanted to get rid of Jimi because everyone was afraid of an uprising by the Black Panthers, who loved Jimi, so much. Then there's the jealousy of his girlfriend, who found out, the night before he was murdered, that Jimi had been to a party with all these girls, and when she showed up un-announced, she saw him with a bunch of girls. I think she showed up again. Either way, when she got pissed and ran off, Jimi told all the girls that he'd better go after her. The people at the party said Jimi did it in a respectful way.

So, we had a paranoid President Nixon, a thieving manager about to lose his fortune, and a jealous English broad, who was in love with an American Superstar. I think there are more people that wanted him dead. But the main people are His Manager and President Nixon.

Jimi had also changed his style in 1969, from the "wild man of Borneo" to the stand-up musician, who concentrated more on the notes.
