This is one of the things I asked Ron if we could do with our cultivation section. Have an Ad section where members can sell their unused equipment to each other. I'm not sure if would work out or not people like to hide and feel safe surfing here. Once you post an item for sale or to buy there is point where you come out of hiding to either pay for or receive the item.

Anybody have a suggestion on how we can do something like this as a regular part of our forum? I want to sell Ron on the idea but I need help working out the details.

Well, maybe a FAQ that we can have on the works...

1st off, I think HushMail is a complete must.
2nd, I think that it should be clearly stated in the FAQ, that there's absolutely no need to use one's actual names. I see no need at all.
3rd, this might be hell, I think cash only will do. Cash can be sent in a package through the postal service (sorry for the people that aren't in the USA, but I'm only experienced with the USPS). You shouldn't send cash... but then again, you shouldn't be growing weed.
4rd. The addresses... ufff, uff uff... the addresses. What to do... ??? I think that both seller and buyer should have PO Boxes... but his is a hassle.

Input anyone on the address issue?

Trichome, sorry for the hi-jack. What you're giving is definitely a good idea... but dude, I'm set with my needs already. But don't worry, somebody will pop-up. I'm sure.

BTW: Zandor, why don't we use eBay? I mean, if TC wants to sell something... we can have an eMail, where TC sends the information (auction # on eBay). Ok... Well, Ron (or a Cannabis.com software bot) gets the auction #, goes over to eBay, gets the necessary information, then posts the For Sale ad in the forum.

That way, although TC is selling the equipment, and he has his real name and information in eBay, we, over here @ Cannabis.com, don't know that TC was the one that submitted the auction #.

What do you think? So, when you send the auction # to the Cannabis.com bot eMail, it doesn't record your user name or nothing... it just gets the number, goes to eBay.com and fetches the information, then posts the ad in the forum.

Of course, all information exchange/questions have to be done through eBay... it wouldn't make sense for a user @ Cannabis.com to speak of his auction on eBay... that guy would be a dumbass...
