I said I agree with a lot of what was said...what I DO NOT agree with and think was uncalled for was calling my son names without knowing the first thing about him.

It does always come back to the home and family....but if the family structure in not there it benefits everyone to repair it.
So what would YOU do, incarcerate or kill them all? We already have 1/2 a generation of kids in jail for simple possession....Our privatize prisons are a business after all....

You can call it *blaming* the government all you want. I call it opening your eyes.
I just don't understand you people and your continued support of a failed administration

You're the ones making excuses for a inept leadership.

There are things with this administration that I agree with and there are things that I don't. I'm Libertarian...I don't really believe that the governments job is to take care of poor folks that have no drive to even raise their own children in a respectful manner.

As for your son, from our discussions it sounds like you did a fine job and I'm sure he IS a fine young man. By the sounds of his accomplishments, you should be proud!! Not only of him but of the job YOU and YOUR SPOUSE did!!

Oh, how would I handle it? I think New Orleans was an eye opener for all of us. Something must be done concerning these kids. I still say, they won't shoot ma, pa, grandma..whatever. It needs to start there!!

no Psycho it is part of the reason. When they are paying themselves so much that they are sucking this country dry. When they pay themselves so much that they are driving the company toward bankruptcy. When they cut thousands of jobs but not their own pay. Tell me what fucking job deserves to go from 82 times the average of blue-collar workers salary; to more than 400 times those salaries.
If the jobs are not there people get desperate crime goes up, drug use goes up, families fracture. It not a really hard concept to understand.

You can also thank Bush's lack of support for birth control as well....that is another program that has been cut. Medicaid no longer covers birth control. Hey but they hand out abstinance flyers at family services. We all know how well that works.

But we got to have more little soldiers for all this nation building we will be doing for who knows how many years....keep the babies coming.

I hear where you comin' from but there will be a time again when the unions return to strength and this type of mismanagement will be dealt with on a nation wide level. GMs bigcats (no offense intended.. LOL) don't make money when ALL the plants are out on strike. But bottom line, parents need to act like parents first and formost!

Medicaid paid for birth control?????????? DAMN! I'm sorry but if ya can't afford the rubber....well.....pull and shoot, anal, a hummer..... Don't mean to be rude but why should the government be responsible for our sex lives? I didn't think we wanted uncle sam in the bedroom?

Different prophets predicted a 20 war....maybe this is it...who knows? HOPEFULLY NOT!!!!!!!!

Psycho, maybe you should just clarify your libertarian position then. Most of the libertarians I've met are much more stable. So you believe in free will and in maximizing and individuals rights. right? how do you apply it? How do you then justify oppression, be it of the third world, or just kids who choose to dress differently? Help me understand where you're coming from position wise...

So you think paying to raise unwanted children would be easier than paying for birth control or do you think you are going to slap them on the wrist and say keep it in your pants if you can't afford a baby? GET REAL.

I don't give a rats ass how kids dress. I was into long hair and hippie clothing, my kid was more into the punk scene. The appearance don't matter, just as long as their not carrying weapons, threatening innocent people on the street, etc..... Don't judge a book by it's cover!

As far as my political stance...LOL...hey Blue, remember this? LOL
