do you guys ever smoke a fat one and you lie back for a while, sinking into the beats... and you just totally disassemble that motherfucker, and put it back together in your head, and after a few listens, you realize you got it totally figured out? you could almost freestyle right then in there, no matter what genre of music, and never fall off on the beat because you know when it's coming, and where it's at.

i laugh when i realize that shit. i love being able to take advantage of fucking with the sounds around me, you know?

Phish is by far the best band to listen to stoned. it feels like i can like, see into the muscians souls while theyre playing. its really wierd, I can like hear every single musical idea they put into a song and everything makes perfect sense. God, i would have sold my soul to go to one of their concerts. but i did get to see Trey at Bonnaroo this year so that was cool.
