how do u tell between the 2 diff kinds of herb? do they have diff textures? or smells or sumthing? or do u just have to smoke to find out?

they'll have diff colors usually(lighter or darker green, maybe brownish or purple)... Diff bud structure and calyx to leaf ratio... diff density, diff everything

Different amount of hairs, different amounts of crystals, different smells, different tastes, different textures, different colors.

A general guideline--Indicas are often darker green than sativas, and tend to have a smell ranging from fruity to citrusy even to chocolatey!

Sativas tend to be a much brighter green and smell anywhere from piney to flowery to earthy, and also overlap into the citrusy range.

satvia's are to spindly plants and the high is energetic and happy. indicas are short stout plants and the high is stoney and lazy (couchlocked).

my marijuana is dense and dark (i smoke indica,) and it smells like a mint (i sometimes refer to it as "christmas") spice.

edit: i've actually only smoked sativa maybe twice. it's not as available around here, unfortunately. you have to find private growers.

its ususally easy to tell simply by looking and smelling it. If ya ever run into someone that has a sack on them when you have yours on you, just ask them if you could see one of their buds to compare.

indica is very dark, sativa is light, they both have different high's indica is more couch lock and sativa is more entergetic.
