New to smoking...

Well thread title basically states it. My friend who has smoked a few times found a baggie of weed on the way to a friends house. He got the idea to bring it over because he knew I was interested in trying it. So here we are getting ready to go outside and smoke but we have no papers but, we have knew that we could find some info on how to throw together a home made bong. Also any tips for a first timer would be great, and if it helps any we have a soda can and a trumpet mouth piece which I heard can be used in making a home made bong. Also here are some pictures of our baby.
