would this bong design work?
Ok this idea came to me today in algebra II class. there are two seperate chamber, 1 with hot water, one with ice cold. the bowl would have two separate down stems, one into each chamber. the chambers would meet at top towards mouthpiece. there is a base and a support for the bowl. it wouldnt have to be too large, maybe like 9 inches. has anyone tried this, i am thinking of making a prototype this weekend. i know it is a lot like a double chamber, but i think that this would be more enjoyable. what do you think?

Why would you want hot smoke and cold smoke together, it'd just be tastier to filter through hot water first to "clean" the smoke then some ice water for a cooler smoke.

I love it! Very clever idea; it's people like you who keep the industry innovative.
Some suggestions:
--slightly longer tube at the top-- if only for looks.
--Longer stem between the bowl and the chamber, to give you a little more separation between the weed and the water level.
--glass-on-glass slide for better seal and so you wouldn't need a carb.
Here's another idea: instead of having the two tubes combine into one circular tube at the top, leave them as two adjacent semicircles separated by the glass wall. That way, the hot and cold smoke never mix until they hit your mouth!
