LSD in relations to DXM

I did DXM a while back and I used to get flashbacks like once a week for about 6 months after I did it. So if I got that from DXM do you think acid is gonna give me really bad flashbacks? Has anyone ever gotten them?

yeah, i dont think this has anything to do with it. I've done DXM plently, and never really had "flashbacks" but i did still feel like the drug was in my body, and got robo,itch for no reason, but it went away. Now mushrooms, are a different thing... after a week of doing em everyother day, i STILL get flashbacks to my mushroom trips(mostly occurs when im high on pot) i get strong CEV's, that i NEVER got before, i did all these shrooms...Its not a bad thing though, it adds to my pot high, and makes it more euphoric. Acid however is a different thing, i've never done it, so i cant really tell you if ur gonna get flashbacks, but im saying you most likely will(not in a bad way) its not like one day you'll be drinving down the road, and a giant fish monster eats your car, and wake up to realize it was just another car...or worse NEVER WAKE UP!

yea i couldn't care less about flashbacks, but my friend does so i just wanna make sure i'm telling him the right stuff. i only did dxm once, 6 pills with like 15mg dxm in each, then the day after i took 7 and had a really bad trip. hotflashes and depressing thoughts. i'm never going near the stuff again.

I dont think I ever got flashbacks but I only did DXM 2 once straight and once with 2 shots of alcohol (not my best moment). I do get intense colors in my vision when I stand up too fast its kinda fun. But I did feel REALLY stupid for like a week or two after I did the DXM.

Agreed, but if I don't get enough sleep the night of a trip, I'll feel a little stoned, and not in the good way, for the first few hours I'm awake. Usually, though, I come out the next day feeling invigorated and refreshed.

As for the flashbacks; I'm no help, because there's no way for me to tell which of the multitude of drugs I've consumed cause the flashbacks I get...

hoobiedoobie - for most people, 6x15mg would be barely noticeable, if that. If you had a strong experience with that little, perhaps you're one of the people born without the enzyme that normally metabolises DXM? At any rate, that's not a common experience, so I wouldn't read too much into it for what your friend will have.

LSD flashbacks tend to occur only when you take fairly high doses by today's standards. While a hit of acid might have been enough to trip face in the 60's, you need at least 3 or 4 average tabs nowadays to get there. I've heard of a couple people having flashbacks that were problematic, but most people don't get them without heavy use, and those that do usually don't mind them. Your friend should do some research on Erowid if he's really concerned.
