I was reading the recent High Times issue and some folks in NY are paying $600 for an ounce of Bubblegum, and Sour Strawberry I believe. But damn, that's high.

I pay $200 for an ounce of highs. Depends from person to person, but 4 nice bong rips gets me blazed. I've been smoking for years though, so it depends.

Thats what shits like livin in the midwest. Bullshit prices. Finding an oz for less than 300 around here of even some good dank is hard enough.

yeah, mid west prices suck ass. i live in missouri, and an eigth of really good stuff can cost $60+. thats really not a bad price for being in the midwest (which im assuming you are.)

I dont have bomb ass conections. I notice many around here say stuff "yooo got this qp of hydro my connection" etc etc but I think thats bullshit.
If you do get good stuff, right on take a hit for me.

I have two reliable connections they get me mids for the prices I listed above. Each week the weed changes a little bit, sometimes its better than others. Im a youngin' 17 you see? I've been smoking since my freshmen year (now a senior) and for the first 2 1/2 years I did not have a steady reliable connection. Getting weed was hard, followed by being nervous, etc. Them times suck.

To my point (I ramble on) all of you in the midwest and all, actually everyone who cant get a reliable connection dont sweat prices. Pot is relative to your tolerance. What you get, gets you high right? As long as it gets you thats all that counts. I figure, as long as the bills are paid it dont matter what I pay, weed is weed.... wait a minute my bills arnt paid FUCK

this reply is pointless. i was trying to say to all who have sucky connections, hang tight they'll come along. i remember them days and i know at some point i'll be back at them days for awhile.

I was once told from a kid in the midwest "my mids is probably your shwagg" I said, "no friend, your mids are my laughter" and then I started to laugh hardcore, with a perma-smile. I was baked, high, and my friend had realized I had never had weed from out there, that weed was new to me (and mine to him)

So if "ditch weed" is crap I say its an investment. I could take that stuff and make a ton of money where I live (small sized, yet big town). No one around here would be used to it.

Or am I horribly mistaken and that ditch weed is pure crap?

You see, I figure logically that mids in from far away would fuck me up like my local dank stuff because I have never smoked that particular strain. (even if its a generic humdrum strain)

i can get an ounce of decent mids for 150. a quad of KB for 100. an eighth from 20-50 depending on quality. and an ounce of KB for 350 or so.
