I think this is caused by damage to the brain. I've been experiencing a lot of weird shit lately, including randomly tripping out for no reason, which is why I've stopped smoking.

Ever since my first shroom trip I can do that to for some reason. The wierdest (and most frightening) is if I stare at something in the dark for liek 10 seconds it literaly disappears. ie when I stare at my cieling fane at night it looks like the cealing eats it up and it disappears. (wtf I forgot how to spell seal-ing like a roof)

yah, I just noticed this the other day, when I stare up at my ceiling i can get it to start swirling, pretty neat.

I also can cause these trips... i think acid does change you though
