yup. without thought there is only nothing. no matter what things there are, you have no thoughts to associate with them, therefore they are nothing.

Was their anything before the universe? or was it always there? is that even possible? if there was a start to the universe, then what was before the universe? Nothing? or something? or is nothing something? I had people say the universe was always, and will always be. But I see it as their has to be a start, a beginning.
