Post Your Salvia Trips........

Hey, I am pretty new to salvia, i tried some basic non-extract with a jet lighter in metal pipe not too long ago.... didnt get much out of it, i am gonna finish off the leaves and get some extract (5 or 10x i think). Basically I need some advice as a new user, what, Where, When, How ect. I would also love to hear some of your trip stories, good and bad trips, thanks!

took my bong outside to this chill little field behind my house. Had been smoking herbage, and took two huge rips of salvia 15x. I immediately felt the salvia rush on. I hated this feeling. My upper lip started tickling and it felt like my nose/upper lip were connected to my bong. Picture an image skewed so that the lip is attached to the mouthpiece like a cartoon. I hated it. I fought the fucker off, luckily.

My other friends were little bitches on it. They all were giggling for like 5 minutes straight (no fucking joke). I hate that drug cause unlike marijuana it is just a complete in my opinion freak drug. NOw I am not saying freaks do it. Hear me out: I mean by freak drug that it makes you feel like a freak, and act like a freak. One's freak drug is one's drug of choice.

All my friend strangely walked in a line while they were on it. THey walked out my house single file and I had to have the line do a telephonesque order to shut the fuck up. very strange indeed

Yeah, thats one thing that strikes me about salvia, people describe it as wierd, strange, horrific, freaky but not really good....... i am just curious, ill try it over the weekend again and post back

I've had good and bad expereriences whith salvia. Actually, probably more bad than good. But I still think it's great. Smoking Salvia Divinorum is an experiment on your brain that will leave you contemplating and thinking back to your trip for the next few days.
It's also extremely interesting to watch people smoke it and witness them enter a completely different reality in their head.
As far as tips for someone who has never used it, I would tell them to just make sure they are in a very relaxed situation, or else they'le probably have a rather disturbing experience that may include drooling. Being outside at the time is a good idea. In fact, the one time out of three that I actually had a non-terrifying salvia trip was when i smoked it out of doors. It was so much fun. I forgot that I was a person and had a body, and then as I looked down it slowly came back to me. It was awesome.
What I love about it is the experiece of contiously choosing to enter into a completely different reality for a short amount of time.

Thanks glowis, from what ive learned it seems mindset is very important with this drug and i think i will have to be prepared before i try it again, i see what people mean when they say it is not to be fucked with :stoned: , Any more trips and experiences would be great ppl, thanks :rasta:

Im pretty new to salvia myself and found erowid.com really helpful -spent most of my time at work reading through trip reports, still not had a breakthrough but probably because I cant seem to buy a torch lighter anywhere, ive been searching for the last 5 days and nobody sells them!

I was at my friend's house and everyone was playing Halo except this black guy and I. They were all baked and screaming at eachother and having a good time. Then the black guy looks at me and offers me some salvia. I agreed and said it was 20x. I had never tried it before and he said he would like to see what happened if I took two bong rips and held them in for like 45 seconds a piece. I did, and nobody that was playing Halo knew I was hitting the salvia. Afterwards I for some reason stood straight up and fell over and pulled all the controllers out of the xbox and knocked over a small table. I just laid there on the floor not knowing what was going on because everyone was yelling at me. But I just kept looking at the black guy because for some reason I thought they were yelling at him, and he was just staring at me. It was crazy.

I was sitting around with some friends in my backyard. Put the bong on the ground, since the guy said it hits some people so fast they drop their piece. One rip.....two rips. And then I was on the ground laughing. What I was laughing at was hard to describe. There was this point in space, hovering a bit to the left of me that was made up of absolute pure undiluted humour. Just looking at this empty point in space made me bust up laughing. That went on for a few minutes, then I got up and start ranting about something being behind a wall.

And, that was it.
