I passed prep Algebra 1 in ninth grade, and moved on to VERY lame geometry. God I hated geometry. Band was the only memorable class in high school. Used to sit in the guitar rooms with other guitarists shooting the shit about drugs and guitar. Never any assignments: just tests every couple of months.

That's actually Bill Hicks, a big influence in Tool's music. "Think for yourself. Question authority." on Salival is actually an exerpt from a Timothy Leary speech. I used to be positive Tool wrote on acid, but Maynard seems to believe the key is to achieve the insights typically thought to reveal themselves through the usage of psychedelics, but sober.
