those 2 feet are gonna help like crazy. you wnat your temp at like 80 degrees. don't go over that, i try to stay betwen 76 and 80. that 90 stuff turtle dude is talking about is crazy hot. and it might be good if you are sucking air out of the box over the light and out into the room. this will help get fresh air into youre box, and that is good for your plants.
Mctuffet Reviewed by Mctuffet on . Made a bigger box. I extended my box to 6 feet high now instead of 4 feet. It is a lot better. Bought a 600 watt hps with a 6 inch air cooled system bought a 6 inch inline fan.. covered my whole box with mylar. the box is now 2 ft. deep, 6 ft. high, 5 ft. long. How hot should it be in my box? i have 4 plants that are about 1.5 ft. and also how close should I have my 600 watt? there is glass under the light to keep it somewhat cooler. Also, should I put ducting from the light to the outside of the box. So far I Rating: 5
