well if you feel like shit, why would you want to smoke? I would just rest up, sleep it off with lots of nyquil, and smoke on.

I have smoked with a sore throat before thats about it, and it wasn't too bad.

I read a great article at WebMD.com where a Dr. was sly and got the U.S. government to allow research on herb as the Dr. was trying to establish a link between herb and the tollerance system. He studied AIDS patiences that used herb. The way the government studied it was really messed up in a way where it would point to herb being bad for your tollerance system.

The Dr. found no link to herb and any lowering of the tolerance system. Use the herb to help you feel better.... Eat it or vaporize it if you have a sore throat... Get well soon!

Yeah havent you ever heard of medicinal marijuana, Its a plant? You smoke it to temporarily relieve your symptoms, and one of the most common symptoms for me when have the flu is an uneasy stomach.

I find that smoking when i feel this way, not only makes me feel better, but also increases my appetite and ability to digest food. :thumbsup:

yah i've heard of medical uses of course, but it just sounded like he felt like shit, and personally if my stomach's killin me and I feel like a bag of ass, I am not up for smokin. thats just me though.

Marijuana is a great medical substance for pain relief and stimulating the apetite, however, one thing THC also does is act as an immunosupressant. Rysk8r420 may be right in that it will relieve your symptoms, but it may cause you to be sick for an extra day or two. Just take a break for a few days until you're feeling better. Then when you do smoke, your tolerance will have gone down and you'll have a great high.

IDK dude, im not saying your incorrect, but ive never heard anywhere that smoking weed reduces your immune system's ability to recover from illness. If you had the article or website where you read that id kinda like to see it. :rasta:

I personally don't smoke when I'm sick. Example: On friday with Veterans Day, I was sick as fuck. My friends rolled through with some bud, and said "We brought you some greens, and you get to smoke it through a bubbler!". However, I didn't really want any right then (though I did ask them if they'd give me a sack so I could roll a jay later.). However, I did take like two shots of anti-cough Nyquill and pass out in my sweater, shorts, and shoes watching a hockey game. That was pretty sweet. :dance:

weed really does not help your immune system at all if you are sick- if you smoke it may lengthen healing time, but then again I find if I'm in pain a little smoke is always good lol I don't like getting sick to stop me from doing something. I guess it's not really the smartest thing though lol.
