Name changes are not permitted.

You may simply stop using your current one, and then register again with the name you desire.

Name changes can lead to confusion (potential software issues, though that's a lesser problem these days) ... ie. here's an example of a potential problem of name changes...

User 1 registers the name 420 Toker

User 2 registers the name Joe Blow

--- later on...

User 1 changes their user name to 420 Stoner

User 2 sometime after that changes their user name to 420 Toker

See the problem!? And that's just one example of the confusion/problems user name changes can cause.
