Why do parents shout at children for lieing. The parents have been the ones that have nutured an environment based on lies. Such as Santa Claus quite a big lie, a big fat guy that lives at the north pole and has a reindeer with a radioactive nose. The easter bunny ummm another lie made up by parent or at least used by parents. The tooth fairy helllllllllllllo a little fairy comes into your room at night and gives you money for your teeth....

wohhhh man the easter bunny is real i saw him with my own 2 eyes but it was really bright out...and i had an infection in one eye and it was really bad from picking at it....and that was the hour my glasses were at lens crafters.

Well, it'd be kind of cheating the kids if their parents didn't lie about Santa Claus. Every other kid would have someone to look forward to at Christmastime and by the time you figure he's not real, you don't care anymore.

I'm planning on telling my kids the netherland story of santa personally. although scientific america mind ( a couple issues back) had a story on why people lie. Interesting enough, those of us with depression aren't as good at lying as those without.
