Question about growth stages

Hi, I'm a first time grower from Arizona. In May I decided I wanted to start growing in my back yard. I did some research, talked to some people, and got a lot of different, conflicting, information. Some info I got was...

-It's too hot in Arizona to grow during the summer, you need to wait until around August.

-You can grow later, but the yields will be very small if you don't start growing during the right time.

-It's not possible to grow unless it's growing season. You need to wait until next year.

-You can grow year-round in Arizona, the climate is perfect.

etc.

I just want to get some feedback from you guys. I talked to a cousin of mine, who is a long time grower and he says I'd be able to grow year-round in Arizona. However, some people from some other cannabis growing forums said it's not possible for me to grow right now and it's too late. Any feedback would be GREAT. Thanks.

marijuana is a tropical plant so it likes warm conditions and planting in august is not really the time to plants as thats the time of year ganja plants start flowering so to try grow them at that time they wont grow good at all, u want to plant your seeds out in about april-may time, and the other people on other boards are correct in saying its too late, u missed the boat! at least ur guna be prepared for next year

Why dont u start growing inside...it would be esier right now scince ur to late to grow outside and it seems that u want to gr so inside would prolly be the best. u can grow in ur closet with flourescent lights and it wouldent get to hot because they dont get that hot, and it wont cause a fire in ur closet either. so if u want to do that all the power to u. if not wait till next year.
