Young people with a family history of mental illness be warned.
im gonna call bullshit on this so called "study".
ESPECCIALLY considering that ALL young people, REGARDLESS of family history are prone to schizophrenia, granted, family history increases the risks, there is nothing wrong wtih an open mind :P
"insanity", "psychosis", "delusions", and the like are just insults to debase people who think different than "normal" people.
honnestly, marijuana does nothing harmful that isnt already happening in your physical brain, MAYBE marijuana speeds up the process, MAYBE it is trying to negate it, i dont know, all i can say is that regardless of what proof people think they can come up with, marijuana will never be a dnager to anyone unless used as a weapon.

Here's an idea.. Weed is a drug...got mental problems? work em out or see a doctor, don't smoke weed. It does not make you insane nor does it induce shit in people...If there's a problem with your head, that's your problem.
Don't blame the drug. Blame the user.
This sounds to much like "weed is a gateway drug", i don't like it
It's Bullshit i say!

My boyfriend's Uncle and Father have schizophrenia. His grandma on the other side has split personality disorder, and his grandpa may have alzheimers at the age of 58. I am very concerned about his future health. He understands better than anyone the horrors of schizophrenia, but he disregards this information about the link between cannabis and its development.

I know, I apologize. I know you are not ignorant.
It's just that schizophrenia is really traumatic for people, and I know it would offend the schizophrenic people I know if they read that it was "another term for open-mindedness".
