    Can anyone tell me what is the problem with this SOS seedling?

    This sexy orange skunk seedling has developed dry brittle (like clay) leaftips;
    orangeish-green in color...any help/suggestions will be appreciated...lw

    blue areas indicate where all the leaf damage is...This is a shame, because these sexy orange skunk did not germinate well out of 5 3 grm'd, all died except this one...the first 2 might have been moth eaten, just like my clones ...and you are not gonna believe, I found this black/white spider jumping around my clone area awhile ago...geeeez...I just got my klone klozit
    almost finished Damn...lw

    the problem is potassium deficient.best bet is to leach the soil.

    Or it could be salt build up. It could also be Pythium wilt too. Or just plan old over watering.

    You are not feeding them at that age anyway so there should not be a salt build up unless your grow rocks were not sterile to start with.

    More likely the last one.

    Is there an odor from the roots?
    Does the grow medium smell at all?

    but I'm going to clean a fresh bubbler and ph ROwater and try again.
    It is possible that I took a shortcut and that caused the problem, but I usually clean my stuff.

    Perhaps she will grow thru it. Whadaya think?

    If I grow soil...I mix my soil, get it wet and sit it over niight and check ph, then I take 3 liter pots and put some clean lava rocks to aid drainage; about an inch or so deep.
    fill it up to the top. take a pen and poke hole 1/4 inch deep the middle of surface and drop in seed...sit the pot in a dry dark place and wait 2-5 days...you should see a sprout in that timeframe...hope this helps. This is how I plant seed...straight into soil...after 2-3 weeks I replant into 16 qt planter with drain saucers on bottom...and that is where they stay for the duration...lw

    SOS recovered with new growth from the other day, and looked fine, I though she was going to just thrive, look at the size difference froom the other day. Well, this AM she looked like this; It was a little cold, last night, but shouldn't have created this...OK...I am going to change out the ph water with 1/4 strength nute solution with superthrive and calmag+, and hygrozyme Wish me luck :smokin: lw

    today's updated pix;
    1. check out the orangish/brown necrotic areas in the interveinal area of the leaves.
    2. I believe this is a Mg def.
    3. In place, you can see the patches good here
    4. another look
    5. Roots look great...

    I had bad luck so far with these rapid rooters, I lost 9 out of 10 seeds, but the breeders said they would send me another collection :dance: ...This is the first time ever I have had to fight to keep a plant pretty...well, I'm off to change res out with fresh solution, wish me luck, lw

    Well the new growth is healthy, bu all the leaves so far looked good, for a couple days and then patched, but not since I mixed 50% 3-part AN nutes,
    Hygrozyme, Calmag+, and superthrive.

    I cut off the bad patches, to see if I stopped problem with additives...she looks like she wants to hang in there
