My setup
What do you think of my new grow setup, it's a 250 watt Hps with a 60 watt fluorescent side light, I've got a fan blowing through the setup. Any suggestions on improvement. I gave the plants a bit too much water after transplanting but this photo was taken a few days ago and the leaves aren't curled as much. The plants are 40 daysold

My setup
Congratulations. Seems to be going well.
I'm going on observations more so than experience but I would suggest the following.
1. For the size of plants it looks like you are growing, a 250w HPS may not be enough.
2. The pots seem large for the available lighting.
3. You should probably build a wooden frame/box around the setup and coat the whole thing with mylar. Seems to be a fair bit of light loss going on.
4. Move the electrical equipment and wiring up off the floor. Even if its only 10cms.

My setup
thanks, I'll add more mylar sheeting. I'll also get another 60 watt light so I have a total of 370 watts, that should be enough. Ballast is raised, but i will also raise wiring. 250 watt is meant to cover 4 sqft. I have gone slightly over that but am getting more light so, No worrys
