Do Bongs Make Weed Weaker?

Bongs, in my opinion, strengthen the high a great deal. They're said to make the high shorter, but in my experience, this isn't true.

There are a lot of misconceptions in the stoner world and most smokers in fact don't know shit except the rumors they hear from their stoner friends who also don't know shit. One of these rumors is that using bongs is healthier because it filters out the tars. It does filter out some tars, but it filters out MORE THC, meaning you have to smoke more to get the same amount of high, which translates to higher tar intake than even an unfiltered joint.

damn thanks for posting that. I havent been here long and i actually sdont come here often so i have never read that. And really i read what i knew from a weed book!! But i also read in the same book that the resin "gunk" in your pipe, will not get you high!! And i know thats bullshit!! I have smoked resin a million times and got plenty STONED!!

Yeah resin saves a lot of people's asses when they're dry.

Bongs.. resin.. both great in my opinion. I think it's fascinating how it seems that every method of smoke consumption seems to bring on a varying intensity of high. Joints seem to be considered a mellower, social high, pipes are the same, and bongs slap your face in, seeming to be the strongest. One-hitters are often considered great for conserving weed. Is it because of the amount of smoke escaping the bowl? The amount taken in per lungfull? All of the above?
