Smoking out of a bong doesn't make the weed weaker. Even if you were to loose some of the thc in the water, the ammount that would be lost would be impossible to detect in the high.

Bongs, in my opinion, strengthen the high a great deal. They're said to make the high shorter, but in my experience, this isn't true.

As for your 'pipe', are you talking about your glass one-hitter? I just got one. It's awesome.

Bongs do take out some THC, more then ppl relise, but they aso take out a lot of the harmful toxins. The reason you get higher with a bong is that the smoke is cooler and has less nasty chemicals in it so you can inhail more!

thc isnt really water soluble so if your losing any its not really that much
bongs filter the weed so you dont get as much of the bad chemicals
bongs are a cleaner hit for me and i can take in more then if i smoke a bowl - so to me hit by hit a bong gets me higher
whenever i smoke a bowl its kinda harsh for me - i pretty much only smoke blunts or bongs - occasional joint and when we have nothing else we smoke my bowl

Yeah, NORML studies have concluded that loss of THC does occur in water filtration, but there's no denying the strength of a bong. It just hits you in the face.

thc is not water soluable but the water takes out most of the psychoactives in thc. so your high could be more intence when your smoking a pipe, norml has studies on it
