I know people who've gotten cannabis cards because they've smoked for so long they can't become hungry without it. I know people who've smoked every night, so they can't fall asleep without it.

When I saw the thread title, I thought you were talking about conditioned responses from the media and anti drug propaganda. Of course there are conditioned responses: I think a lot of the people who act all lame and annoying when they're high do it just because they think that's what marijuana does to you.

Conditioned Response to THC It's been proven that the consumption of marijuana (THC and other accompanying cannibinoids) are capable of activating the hunger center in your brain (hence, the munchies  ). But I have a theory, and I really hope it's wrong. If someone was to smoke regularly (easily 3-5 times a day), and often to settle one's stomach, wouldn't your body eventually come to depend on the drug to produce hunger? I say this because I'm pretty sure I fucked up my appetite over the years by Rating: 5
