This thread makes me sad, i like country like merle haggard or johnie cash, they were more outlaw than all the fake rappers out there, even friends in low places by garth brookes, kenny rogers, patsy cline, woddy guthrie.
i love disco, i like that backstreet boys song " i want it that way". Death metal and gansta rap are 2 of my favourite genres.

think all of PERFECT CIRCLE and P.O.D.'s songs are good , both of them christian rock bands


LOL perfect circle isnt a jesus rock band, maynard is into the occult. I agree all christain rock blows, some inner city gospel churchs are ok though. I like classical. I can find good music in any genre.

I agree that mudvanye and yoko suck ass. POD too. I dont like most R and B except child molester r kelly and maybe alicia keys.

But, Maynard James Keenan is the frontman and musical writer(and lyrics of course) of "A Perfect Circle" and he's not just into the "occult" he's completely and publicly against ALL RELIGION. Just thought that should be cleared up, I'm a big fan of him and Adam Jones (his guitarist/writer/artist from Tool). So unless your referring to some band called just "Perfect Circle" and not the band fronted by maynard whoever said they were christian obviously didnt listen for even half a second. The mans obsessed with egyptian and greek myths (they're referenced often in tool's and a perfect circles songs) Try "a perfect circle"'s biggest hit to date called Judith the lyrics may surprise you if you think they're christian. Id state them but I'd probably get banned , and I wouldnt blame whoever did so

But personally I dont really hate any band, anyone whos lucky enough to get a contract power to them at least they'll never have to "work" again if they play it smart.

But I do dislike RNB just because it seems that there all singing the same song "I wanna kiss you all over baby" and other such sundry changes on the same exact theme for every band etc etc. Also where do they get off calling themselves RNB last time I checked that was for people like louie armstrong not some whiny soprano.....(this is just my opinion though my best friend is obsessed with this crap and its all I hear whenever I visit her, so again its just an opinion after all they ALL can sing that ill give em)
otherwise I like pretty much EVERYTHING else.
ironically especially classical or industrial metal like NIN or bands like TOOL mixed with my fave Tchaikovsky(although I think I just butchered his name cuz im too lazy to look it up).

It makes me mad when people say shit like, this genre of music is only for this type of people. All music is for everybody.

In music i like 1 of 2 things. Talent or something that sounds cool.

I dont like rap, but it probally takes some talent. And country music just annoys me.

Why does everyone hate classical? I dont know shit about it, but some of it sounds cool. I was high in music class one day and we were listening to something with alot of cymbals and it sounded freaky.
