Ok, I've got a Hanna Instruments meter (TDS/EC/ppm/Temp/pH)...

How do I actually mix all the nutes together?

I've got a 6 gallon reservoir... which I'll be filling to the 5 gallon mark.

Do you guys...
1. pour 5 gallons of water into the reservoir (I've got a RO+DI filter)
2. Put in all the General Hydroponics (GH) 3-part nutes... their instructions are for 1 gallon... so I multiply everything by 5... and that's it?

I'm looking for the INs and OUTs of doing this. I mean... do you mix them apart? Do you mix them all inside the final rez? Should I mix them in a separate place before?

Thanks for the help guys... really appreciate it...

Theoretically, after mixing your nutrient solution per lable instructions. Let it sit for last least one hour to stablize chemical reaction, then use your Hanna meter to balance the pH. This is the proper way to adjust your pH.
Mix them in a separate place and after proper adjustment then you are ready to go to your rez. Have a good day.
