comming from a person who has spent his past 4 years at college. Just dont smoke in your room! I mean just go walk outside and pretend like you are smoking a ciggarette. No kid is gonna say anything to you, and if anybody does say something just swallow it and move on. In the winter (if you have winter) and have to smoke inside, do it in the bathroom with the shower ON. Have you even noticed how humid it gets in there after running that bitch for a few minutes? The humidiy helps maintain an area where it is hardest to smell pot. My dorms didnt allow us to burn candles or innsense so we had to do the shower thing. Just leave the shower on for 25 mins after u are done and let the fan in the bathroom take away the smell. spray some cologne to smell good for the ladies and go on with your day.

Ha good warning, I've done that a time or two in my house when I was younger trying not to get caught. Hilarious when your mom comes banging on your door at 2 Am wondering why the shower has been on for 4 hours.

smoking in the bathroom with the shower on definitely helps cover the smell, towel under the door definitely helps too. neither is as good as a friend with their own apartment vs. smoking in your dorm room.

i go to a community college and smoke in my apartment! A fan against the wall (so i can still light the bowl) window open, LIQUID incense on. Liguid incense is so much better/cheaper/ and if you mix equal parts juniper and sage, it smells like weed ;D

well, dont smoke joints or blunts if youre smoking inside, use a bowl, and while smoking cover the top of the bowl with a quarter or something so smoke doesnt escape, and try to "ghost" your hits as best as possible(you will also get higher)
I've used products like "Ozium" and "Orange Chronic" b4 and personally I like ozium.
umm you could also try the empty toilet paper roll stuffed with dryer sheets.

I have to disagree with SporesDirect. Smoke only in your room. It's probably the safest place. You could roll all your weed into joints and smoke them outside, but why waste all that weed and why risk getting caught smoking in public? Get one of those fans that you can put in your window. Seal the entire window around the fan and have it blowing out. Do not seal the cracks in your door or put towels under it. Why? Because you want to control the airflow in your room. You want the air to come in from the hallway, through your room, to the fan and out the window. When you turn your fan on you should be able to feel a breeze coming in from under your door. It is now impossible for anyone outside the room to smell it, since that requires air to leak out of your room into the hallway. If all the air is going out the fan, you don't have to worry about the smell. Take all your hits near the window and blow them into the fan. Cap your bowl when you're done. Try to keep the amount of smoke inside the room to an absolute minimum, especially if you have a smoke detector. Oh, and keep your door locked whenever you're toking. It's just common sense.

good advise oneironot. WHat about the shower idea? Seems a little safer IMHO. Does the humidity effetc how long you can keep the bowl lit?

I've never been able to get the lighter to work in the shower. And besides, if somebody comes in and smells the weed, that can spell trouble.
