Nicotine poison works on tobaccos enemies by addiction. When the enemy takes the nicotine a strong desire for more occurs. This ends for most of tobaccos predators in a spiral of death from over indulgence. The insect humans however have proven most difficult to kill off with the poison; it takes a lot longer for the nicotine to cause their deaths, but they are woking to improve their lot. I use tobacco spray for scarid fly infestations on my plants. Boy do they get burned!

I think it something about "directly" and how that word works. When I was in Morrocco in 1971 they made kif illegal. The claim was it caused cancer, and kif was a mix of pot and tobacco, so, there you go.

I think that they may have never had a case of just a cannabis smoker to find cancer in, they probably all smoked other things too, so that would skew the results. Like in auto accidents it is mostly alcohol related, but they some had joints in their pockets too.

What the point most try to make is that cannabis has no known overdose level. No one can die from it. You cannot eat, shoot, smoke, or inhale or whatever enough actives to cause you any damage directly. Again the THC wont kill you, the carbolized vegitative matter might cause you problems.

So, do you hang cannabis or carbons? That is why the thread is to quit the smoke but not the herb. Maybe you have to realize it is the THC we are talking about in cannabis and not really the smoke from a joint (which contains 1000's of actives both good and bad).

People used to think so but now it's believed they are just as harmful because even though the smoke is "filtered" it's still concentrated. So, the smoke is just as harsh. I think it "feels" a lot safer because of the temperature change.
