    saw leaf..... fertilizer question

Well the main difference when using high nitrogen fertilizers between indoor and outdoor plants is not really the potting of the plant, but the amount of light they get. This is a Miracle Grow fertilizer, it wasn't designed with cannabis growing in mind. The difference they see with indoor and outdoor plants is the lighting available. Most people with indoor plants just have them near a window where they recieve moderate amounts of light. They will use less nitrogen than plants out in the full sun, which will utilize the nitrogen a lot faster because of the abundant light source for photosynthesis. The best rule of thumb for cannabis, is to use half the directed amount of fertilizer. Too little, will not be bad, but a little too much can seriously screw up your plants. What I really worry about though, is that the fertilizer you have chosen is a chemical fertilizer and very acidic. Check the PH level of it and your soil. You are best with the PH in the range of 6.7-7.2. I always strongly recomend against chemical fertilizers, because of the horror stories and experiences I have heard and also experienced myself. I'm a true believer of organic cultivation and it seems more and more cannabis growers are going this route as well, because of the amazing results it brings. Check out this link for more information on organics http://www.overgrow.com/growfaq/t159 Organics are avaiable online, at the nearest gardening center, or you can compost your own. Good luck!

Do you mean if the soil is more base? Like alkaline? Well to make the soil more alkaline you want to ad hydrated lime, potash, crushed oyster shells, and even bone meal can help. But you don't want to overdo it. The best bet is to get your soil right first and keep it in the healthy PH range. Preventing problems is a lot easier than trying to correct them.

    saw leaf..... fertilizer question

As far as fertilizers go, a good all around fertilizer to use would be something like 10-20-20 or 16-16-16. This is what I and many other farmers use on their vegetables and gardens. Granulated fertilizers are pretty good, because they release slowly over time. After my plants are well established, I usually side dress my plants with a decent time-released fertilizer according to the label.

Do they have time released or granulated organic fertilizers. All the ones I've seen like that are synthetic chemical fertilizers. You can get much better tasting, growing, happy plants with pure organic fertilizers and compost teas.

    saw leaf..... fertilizer question

Hehe, organic is always the best way to go or else we would be smoking crack or bah2 instead of weed. (just a joke) I haven't seen or used organic fertilizers near where I live, but I would think they me a bit more expensive. On the farm, we just buy the 20-50 pound bags of man-made fertilizer.
