What is a bad trip on Salvia????

I'd certainly agree with that. But I think it's open to interpretation. whenever i read or hear reports of "bad trips" it seems that a lot of people have trouble with the ego dissolution that occurs during trips. At least, high dose trips. that level of existance without memory, or concepts of time, space, self, etc. is something I just expect on the journey. Acceptance is crucial.

I've never had a bad trip, but I've had obstacles to overcome. In my line of thought though that's the entire purpose of the trip.

Bad trips on salvia exist. I've done salvia tons of times and only had one that I didn't like or learn anything from. I took a couple big tokes of 20x and right as I finished my mom walked in and I just fell over and dropped my bong and I couldn't move or talk. I had no idea who I was but my mom was standing over me saying "ERNIE WHAT DID YOU SMOKE. TELL ME WHAT YOU SMOKED. ERNIE ARE YOU GOING TO BE OKAY!?!?! ERNIE STOP PLEASE."

Needless to say I freaked the fuck out. I was on the ground and I kept trying to say "it's okay I promise" but it wasn't coming out it was just babble but I knew what I was trying to say. ((actually I just knew what my brain wanted to say, at the time I didn't even know I was ernie Im pretty sure.))

As soon as I realized that I was ernie and she was talking to me, the first words out of my mouth were "Oh shit I'm going to kill myself." But what I really meant was "Man, Im really pissed at myself for leaving my door unlocked for this experience." My mom freaked out again saying "Ernie have you been feeling this way all along why didn't you tell me!??" and I was just like "I have to take a shower." I went and took a 10 minute shower, for the first fourth of it or so, I'd rest my head against the wall of it, and my gravity would completely shift. It was insane. It was like I was standing on my forehead on the wall, and the fact that my feet were touching the ground had nothing to do with my current position.

Anyway, I got out and explained everything to my mom, but she had looked through my room and got rid of my remaining salvia and like 20 hb woodrose seeds. Oh well, I felt terrible for scaring the shit out of my mom like that so I didn't even complain.

That's the only real bad trip I've had, and it had to do 100% with setting.

don't get me wrong, the whole situation was probably shitty....but the way you worded it and stuff just makes it funny. your mom is already freaking out and the first words out of your mouth is "oh shit i'm going to kill myself" now i know, that's because you were pissed at yourself and it'd be the same thing like if you forgot to put oil in your car and fried the engine...but a panicing mom took it the wrong way >.> i dunno that just seems kinda funny like one of those things wher eyou have to watch the timing of what you say.
