What is a bad trip on Salvia????

what is a bad trip on salvia?? i want to try it but you know, im a lil sissy! so i know it can be marvelous and great but i know i cannot underestimate it...so if anyone had a badtrip please tell me?? :dance:

I don't think a bad salvia trip is as serious as a bad trip on shrooms or LSD, mostly because the salvia trip just doens't last long enough. If you use a responsible amount of salvia, the worst that could happen is you'll get freaked out for a few minutes and then feel unpleasant for a while. You may find the experience disagreeable and not want to do it again, but it shouldn't do any permanent damage. I've only used 10x and 15x, though. I can't say anything about higher doses.

I have some x15 I got from a website and Iâ??m quite nervous about trying it through reading lots of trip reports. To add to the problem, I stay with 2 other flatmates that donâ??t even know I smoke weed so I need to do it on a day they are both working and there is no risk of them coming back. Iâ??m going to take a day off work on Monday and test it out, but I want to make sure everything is perfect so I donâ??t have a bad trip â?? Iâ??m going to meditate for about 10 minutes, put comfortable clothes on, lie on my bed and put some soft music on â?? I think Iâ??m quite a sensitive person soi donâ??t want a freak out, especially being on my own.

Read some reports on this website, it wont prepare you for the trip but it will make you slightly more aware of what might happen

Dont worry about it, youll be okay, i've never done it but i have tripped off other substances and i know salvia is different, but its legal. Ive never met a drug i couldnt handle, especially not a legal one. imp:

Salvia is like no illegal substance i know of it is a totally different feeling and experience and cannot be compared to any other substance its just.....crazy. the only reason its legal because its not very well known about but it is illegal to consume it

i had a terrible exp my first time i toook 2 giant hits outa my bong of 20x i think.... but ne way reality tore apart b4 my eyes there was like 30 diff reallitys and they were all unplugging them selves i thgouth the world was ending then it all formed into a carosel with demons and evil things instead of horses i lost all sense of self and forgot everything the only thing i knew was that the world was a carosel then the next thing i c is my sell dead ran over by a car ppl just staring at my body then i snapped out of it ive done cid shrooms and dxm numerous times but nothing prepared me for that my freind toook a hit right b4 me and was just blown away by streetball the show we were watching.. weird shit...

I had a really hard time with my first salvia trip. I basically became an abstract painting for the duration of my trip. Paralysed and locked into a perception of certain shapes. It was so fast an onset that I never learned how to operate in it like one does during the rising part of a shroom trip. I was having a bunch of perceptions on different levels, seeing, hearing, smelling, or actually feeling all sorts of things, but never both. as in, everything I heard was invisible, everything I saw was silent... Felt like an eternity.
I didn't understand it. I wouldn't call it a bad trip, I just didn't get out of it what i usually do from other substances. I wasn't happy with the first result so I did salvia again 2 nights later and had a trip that showed me where i went wrong with my first trip. remembered what I'd forgotten and gave me time to unfold it all. Or, enough of it to have a working understanding.
Its an incredible experience. Just don't think of it as recreational.

hmmm... it's been awhile since my last salvia expedition... I need to revisit that place soon.

fortunately, i've not had a bad trip...and i hope i never do....a good trip is so intense, it's almost too much to handle being a "veteran" so to speak of drugs, i can't imagine being a complete noobie to drugs and having a bad trip on it. i don't even know if it's really possible to have a bad trip, it's really hard to explain why...but it's like your so out there, there is nothing "bad"
